As you know, there are so many amazing quotes floating around…many which are truly inspiring, and some which are just downright funny! 🙂  Today, I wanted to share this one as I think it provides some very valuable tips for home-based business owners, among others.

It really speaks to me as humility is not a strength of mine, but I’m finding that in business, there is no room for pride.  What I’ve learned from scripture is that those who raise themselves up in the eyes of others will be brought low, but those who humble themselves will be exalted.  I’ve also learned that when you experience success in life and in business, look for the “defeats”, or areas that you can learn and grow from…they’re always there.  On the other side of the coin, when things don’t go my way, I’m reminded that there are always “victories” or positives that I can glean from my circumstances or events to motivate me to continue moving forward toward my goal.  

Let this quote encourage you to seek the type of balance that is necessary for you to build a business that will serve you and your family well into the future.  Moving forward is the key, and with this type of mindset, you’ll always be assured of doing just that…no matter the circumstances.
