About 9 years ago, I had all but decided that I was finished with being an entrepreneur.  I had two small children, had recently moved to another state, and had just experienced my second failed home-business venture which really left a sour taste in my mouth.  At this time, I struggled with the thought of why things hadn’t worked out, and what I did (or didn’t do) that might have lead me to this place, and I started to doubt that success could really be mine.  Along with the doubts, were fears that if I continued down this entrepreneurial path, I might experience the same results that I had already achieved.

I thought that it would be easier if I just called it a day, and just spent my time taking care of my sweet little family.  But as I worked to settle myself into my new way of life, I continued to feel a nagging feeling deep inside that wouldn’t let me give up on my dream of entrepreneurial success.  After about a year in home-business “time-out”, I had come to the realization that being in business was not just a decision for me, but more of a calling.  So, after much prayer and discussion with my husband, I once again, made the plunge, and this time I wanted to do things differently than before.

My plan was to position myself as a student of my craft and determine that quitting was not an option for me.  I vowed to learn what I needed to learn so that success would be mine, and to NEVER QUIT!  That is what I want to encourage you with today.  Yes, business is difficult, and yes, it is challenging.  You will encounter many set-backs, failures, and hurdles to climb, but know that it is all worth it!  When you decide to be unstoppable, in business, and in life, you will simply be unstoppable.  Whatever you’re walking through in your life, know that it’s all being used to test your resolve and conviction, but also know this…with each test that you pass, and with each hurdle you overcome, you move one step closer to realizing your dreams. So don’t give up!  You CAN do this! :-).
